Comprehensive OphthalmologyThis is a generalized area of Ophthalmology dealing predominantly with refractions, or vision correction with spectacles or contact lenses. However, because it is "comprehensive", all areas of the eye are covered, with referral to subspecialists in Ophthalmology, depending on the nature of the problem. Our primary General Ophthalmologist on staff, Dr. Louis Roloff, has a specific interest in glaucoma, and offers a package examination, including nerve-fiber layer photographs (special photos of the delicate nerve-endings in the inner layers of the retina), nerve-fiber layer analysis (a test that looks specifically at the nerve fiber layer thickness), as well as baseline optic disc photos and visual field testing.
